Abi ClancyWAG Abigail Clancy has reportedly abandoned her fledgling modelling career because it would take her too far away from boyfriend Peter Crouch.

A number of modelling agencies in the US were said to have been keen to sign the wannabe lingerie model but a friend told the Sun she’s turned them down: “Abi enjoyed her time in the States and when she went was determined to make it big as a model.”

“But her relationship is fantastic now and she doesn’t want to jeopardise it for a modelling contract.”

The 22 year old is said to have told friends: “I just don’t think I could leave Peter. I had a really big decision to make - whether to stay in Liverpool or enhance my modelling career in LA.”

“Obviously I really love modelling and I’d love to make it big. But it’s not a decision which can be made overnight and my life is fulfilled with my relationship - my modelling career is a bonus.”

“I’m happy with Peter and that’s enough for me.”

The source added that Abi’s loyalty may pay off soon: “It wouldn’t surprise me if he popped the question soon. We are all expecting them to get married next year.”
