The ever kooky Patrick Wolf wore some bizarre furry knee-length trousers to the NME Awards the other day making him look like the illegitimate offspring between Mr Tumnus from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardobe and Adam Ant.

He was nominated for two awards at the ceremony - Best Solo Artist and Sexiest Male - but lost out to Kate Nash and Noel Fielding respectively - and we thought we’d send our consolations with a bit of love in celebration of his quirkiness.

It’s nearly a year old now but here’s the video for his single ‘Magic Position’. The visuals are disappointingly low-key but the song itself is fab.
