Katie frequently travels to her holiday home in Cyprus and Los Angeles - but a source told the Sun it was trips to see her husband Peter Andre’s family in Australia that made up her mind: “She has three round trips planned to Australia. The cost of taking the family abroad this year looked ridiculous.”

Instead, the glamour model also known as Jordan is buying a Hawker 900 for £4.5million and has plans to completely customise it with a pink exterior including her Jordan silhouette symbol and pink upholestry inside.

The source added that Katie has more than just decorating plans: “When she gets the jet she intends taking flying lessons.”
