Pink is the love of my life despite divorce, says Carey Hart

Pink and Carey Hart Carey Hart has described estranged wife Pink as the love of his life even though they’re currently divorcing.

The couple announced their separation last month after two years of marriage and soon afterwards, Pink asked her fans to think well of the motocross star because he is “a good man”. Now Carey has also stressed that their split is amicable.

He told People magazine last night: “Above and beyond everything, we are the best of friends and she is the love of my life.”

“We talk all the time.”

A source close to the couple added: “They’ve both got so much going on in their lives right now that they work better as friends than as husband-and-wife.”

I think it is great to highlight these divorces to the public. Divorce has such a stigma of negativity and pain, which is a part of the process, but there are many marriages that end on quite ammicable terms and the people still remain friends. We have many women speak of their divorces and how they are still friends with their ex-husbands. The stigma of divorce lends one to believe that a couple can no longer stand each other and therefore have to seperate. Thus is not the case and I love that as times are changing we are seeing more people just say we don’t work best as a couple and seperate. In my opinion that is the most mature positive way to approach the situation.
