Ashley Cole’s mum agrees that he should apologise for infidelity
Cheryl Cole has reportedly got a comrade in her attempts to get husband Ashley Cole to make a public apology over his infidelity - his mum.
According to the Mirror, Ashley’s mum Sue was livid when she found out about her son’s indiscretions and believes he needs to do the right thing now the Girls Aloud star has decided to give him another chance.
A source told the newspaper: “Sue is making him apologise to the whole of Cheryl’s family and to theirs too.”
“She raised Ashley - mostly as a single mum - to respect women.
“She has given him the cold shoulder, and it’s really getting to him as he is incredibly close to his mum. He paid special tribute to her at his wedding.”
