Leona Lewis reportedly turned down an offer to sing at a private party in Dubai - even though she’d be paid £250,000 for singing just four songs.

A source told the Sun: “Leona was offered the £250,000 to perform just four songs. It wouldn’t have taken much more than 15 minutes. But it seems it wasn’t enough for her team.”

The corporate event organises then offered to pay all her expenses on top of the fee - including first class tickets and a five-night stay the luxury Burj Al Arab hotel - “That was thrown in on top for her and her team — so not a bad night’s work” - but her team still refused.

A source close to the X Factor winner added: “it was just bad timing. All her attention and efforts are on her US launch at the moment. She won’t do anything to derail that.”

Leona is reportedly set to perform on The Oprah Winfrey Show later this week and appear on American Idol later in the month.
