Owen Wilson and Jennifer AnistonOwen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston have reportedly become fast friends on the set of their new film Marley & Me.

A source told Star magazine: “Jen wasn’t looking forward to [making the film] at first because she was worried about working with Owen, but he has turned out to be a real surprise.”

“She’s finding out that he’s a terrific guy who’s fun to be around.”

The pair, who play husband and wife, started work on the movie in Florida last week but the source explained that the pair first started bonding late last year to improve their onscreen chemistry and have regularly spoken on the phone over the last few months.

The source added that the bonding paid off: “Jen is known for being a recluse on set but she’s having so much fun hanging out with Owen. She’s just really relaxed and happy, which is nice to see.”

“The [on-screen affection doesn’t] end when the cameras stopped rolling. They were very flirty together, far more than you would expect. In between takes they were hanging onto each other. They are very friendly.”
