Patricia Arquette admits uncertainty over sibling’s sex change
Patricia Arquette has revealed she found it difficult when her sibling Alexis revealed he was was having a sex change.
Alexis had long lived and worked as a transgender performer before making the full transition in 2005 and Medium star Patricia said recently that she found it hard to cope with Alexis’ decision: “I had all the questions at first: ‘Do you love yourself? Is it something that you want to change about the way you look?’ I get concerned when anybody I love wants to do any change to the way they look - where’s this coming from and why?…”
“Accepting as I am, I didn’t really understand and I can’t say I really do understand it. But I did feel a sadness. Like, there’s a loss. Am I going to lose my brother? I have memories of growing up - little faces we made, getting dressed up for Halloween.”
“I always imagined myself to be a very open-minded person. So when I was feeling a level of judgement… I really had to think about myself.”

Note to Pat: We are commanded to judge wisely, fairly, and righteously, i.e. not judgementally, “…but judge your neighbor fairly…” etc [LEV.19:15] No matter what, your brother’s sex change was an abomination, an insult to your parents and family. If you truly love him, you should kindly and gracefully let him know that. You owe it to him. He’s your brother. Stop being a phony Hollywood faker.

Patricia, your brother hasn’t changed, she is the same person that he always was, she can now simply express the person she feels she is.
If you want to bring religion into it as some people always will, then the bible essentially says it’s not your place to judge, it’s God’s, and by judging others you are taking that right away from God and acting as God.
I challenge anyone to find any reference in teh bible to transsexuals, I also challenge anyone to find any reference to other people who have birth defects that they then do something about.
God made us, and he didn’t make us perfect, otherwise we would all be happy with we’re given. Life is a series of challenges, some we pass, some we fail, but God is a parent, and parents love their children unconditionally.

Hey Patricia
Please realise your new sisters sex change has nothing whatsoever to do with you your family or anybody but hereself .Your not losing anybody shes still the same person the same mind the same sense of humour the same irritations views etc BUT now she is being honest with hereself and her family and friends about the gender she truelly feels she is .That is all that changes her gender not the essence of the person anyway i salute your honesty about your feelings obviously you and your sis/bro have more in commen than you think.

Patricia,
Bless you for your courage to question, that is how we discover truth. Your loss is only in the person that you knew as Alexis, your memories will be with you always, but you will morn for the brother you knew; but you can rejoice in her choice to Live and live with integrity and the truth that is your new sister.
May you make many new memories with her as the woman she has become.
Sarah

You are talking nonsense. By your opinions everybody could do of themselves whatever they want! It is sick, anyway. It is the most normal for Patrica to be judgemental because that kind of decisions is not easy. Every person is not going to change his/hers sex every day, and as Bible said every person must love herself and not to be doing that kind of sick changes.
