Tori SpellingTori Spelling has revealed she was rather shocked to find out that she’s expecting a baby girl.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 star told People magazine: “I just found out at my ultrasound, and we are so excited.”

“[But] we were shocked when the doctor said the ultrasound showed a girl.”

As well as their son Liam, Tori’s husband Dean McDermott has a son Jack from a previous relationship: “I always kid him that he’s shooting only boys.”

“[But] I’ve always wanted a little girl since I’m such a girly girl, and Dean always wanted a little girl as well.”

“I immediately started crying. I couldn’t believe it. I have my beautiful little boy and now I’ll have my little girl. It’s amazing.”

“I’m a little nervous to have a girl. But mostly, I’m just excited for the same reasons - to prove to myself that I can be an amazing mom to a little girl.”

“Dean says he will be totally overprotective! He says ‘especially if she looks like her beautiful mamma!’ Aaahh … Love my man!”
