Jennifer Lopez denies IVF rumours: twins were conceived naturally
Jennifer Lopez has dismissed rumours that her children Max and Emme were conceived using IVF or other fertility treatments.
The star was rumoured to have turned to medical help after failing to conceive a much-desired baby naturally and speculation increased after she was revealed to be having twins - but the new mum has told People magazine that wasn’t the case.
She explained: “It was natural. We didn’t do in vitro, which I know was reported. Everybody assumed that because we had twins.”
“I wanted to have a baby, but I’ve always said exactly what I said all those years [everyone] asked us since we’ve been married: ‘Well, when are you guys gonna have some kids?’ ‘When it happens naturally, I guess!’ And that’s when it happened. It was a surprise to us.”
But she admits she did begin to have doubts about whether she would ever become pregnant: “You start getting older, you think to yourself, ‘Maybe [having kids] is just not meant for me.’”
“[But] I knew there was nothing wrong with me. I knew that I could. Deep down, I really wanted it badly… [But] after one year, two years, three years… You know, you start thinking to yourself, ‘Well, maybe…’”
Max and Emme arrived last month. The pair are Jennifer’s first children and the fourth and fifth children of her husband Marc Anthony.

I call foul here. The likelihood of her having fraternal twins naturally is astronomically low. She may not have had IVF, but most likely was taking fertility drugs to make her ovaries put out more eggs. There’s no shame in doing this, it’s just an indicator that you’ve put off children until you were financially and emotionall ready. Lopez does women everywhere a disservice by lying about this.

And what makes you so certain she did in fact take drugs to conceive. Maybe you want to believe she is lying for whatever self absorbed purpose you have. Life isn’t about odds.
Get over it.

No need for sorry Roni.
I would like to hear on what basis some are so certain she did fertility drugs.
Why go through a whole lieing scenario. In the People interview she turned to her husband and asked, did you really think it would happen, I mean after 3 years I sometimes wondered, soemthing like that, etc.
Sorry Roni, if she wanted to lie she wouldn’t go into such a detailed scenario.

folks let’s face that the odds of having twins are rare. ms lopez simply financially has been in the place to get herself some twins. all these celebrities have jumped on the baby bandwagon like it’s a hobby or something. having childfren is a big resposibility, and i only wish these people’s nannies don’t end up raising these children. i don’t doubt that as we age we are capable of dropping more eggs, but if your’e watching the recent amount of celebrities that are dropping ”multiple” at once, you’ll know something’s up. it’s important to be honest about the realities of being a parent, wheter it is even one child let alone more. mr jho need’s to ”be real” about this. it’s hard to be a parent. these people simply have money to make it go a little better. but be wary not all that shines, is gold and you never know what happens behind closed doors. any how my jlo has initially in one interview admitted to ivf treatments than changed her statements later on. In life things come and go, like FADS, hopefully these people understand CHILDREN are not fads, and they need to be using their minds instead of keeping up with the joneses. i at 23, had naturally concieved triplets, while my tubes were tied. i already had a 4 yeard old, with no intent to have anymore. we as people need to weigh our intentions in line with our morals and responsibilities. what’s next for these people triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, or septuplets, come on give me a break!! who decides that thses celebrities are important anyway? let’s not be disillusioned. when i s**t, it stinks and the same goes for these people.money may make the difference, but i can assure you the children don’t want cash, they want their parents…..
