Melanie ChisholmMelanie Chisholm has said she’s glad the Spice Girls reunion tour has come to an end.

Despite the quintet’s claims that the decision to cut short the tour was unanimous as they had to get back to their families and normal lives, Mel C is rumoured to have instigated the move. The women played their final performance in Canada last month instead of going onto South America, South Africa and Asia as previously planned.

When asked about whether she was missing living on the road with her four bandmates recently, she replied: “Not at all. I’m so glad to be home. It’s great to have a bit of time off.”

Mel is said to be planning a solo tour of Europe and North America later this year.
