Britney SpearsThe latest appeal against Britney Spears‘ conservatorship has been dismissed by the US Court of Appeals.

Last month lawyer Jon Eardley submitted a claim that the conservatorship violates her civil rights but after lawyers for the co-conservators Jamie Spears & Andrew Wallet filed a response, the claim was dismissed. Yesterday Eardley entered a second claim with the Court of Appeals but it was rejected again without even waiting for Team Britney to make a response.

Around $40,000 of the singer’s money is believed to have been spent so far in challenging Eardley and a legal source explained: “The court has no evidence whatsoever that Eardley is working on Britney’s behalf and they’re no longer interested in playing games.”

However, a source has told OK magazine that Britney did hire Eardley in the early days of the control order at the start of February.

A source told the magazine that Britney spoke to the New York-based lawyer through a third party, believed to be a friendly paparazzo, because dad Jamie Spears was monitoring all her phone calls.

According to the source, Britney spoke in her English accent during the exchange and told the lawyer: “Basically I want my life back. I want to drive my car. I want to live in my house alone. I want to pick my own security, see who I want to see and make it happen.”
