Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse has reportedly told friends that she “can’t imagine a life without drugs” while husband Blake Fielder-Civil remains in prison.

Blake has been on remand at HMP Pentonville in London since last November after being arrested on perverting the course of justice charges and is expected to stay in jail until at least his trial in June. Amy’s drug use is said to have spun out of control since then, interrupted only by a brief stay in rehab in January.

A source close to the singer told Look magazine recently: “She says the drugs take the edge off how much she misses Blake.”

“He’s everything to her and she’s struggling to cope without him. She keeps saying the drugs help her through.”

“She’s told everyone she has no intention of quitting them right now.”
