Kirsten DunstKirsten Dunst is reportedly trying to make amends for her previous wrong-doings as part of her efforts to turn her life around.

The Marie Antoinette star spent time at the Cirque Lodge in Utah last month but despite rumours she was there for rehab, a friend has now told E! News she was there for treatment for depression and other mental health issues.

But even so, the actress seems to be to be working her way through certain points of the 12-step programme most commonly used by former addicts and is said to have contacted Spider-Man co-star Tobey Maguire for Step 9: ‘Made direct amends to such people wherever possible’.

An inside source told In Touch Weekly: “Kirsten apologized for things she did to him when they worked together and dated in 2001.”

Former child star Kirsten is now said to be based in Northern California and was spotted having an Easter meal with her mum and two other people at the Olema Farm House restaurant in Marin County. A onlooker reported: “She looked normal, happy and healthy. Her face was full, and she looked like she was very relaxed. Her mom paid the bill.”

The actress is said to be thinking of permanently moving to the area in a bid to get away from her Los Angeles life: “She wants to leave behind all her bad influence friends and destructive temptations. She knows that sort of thing doesn’t make her happy any more.”
