Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow is reportedly keen to pursue charity endeavours as well as being a full time mum to children Apple and Moses during her career break.

The Shakespeare in Love star has been named as an ambassador for international children’s charity, Save The Children and is expected to play an active role in raising the profile of the charity around the world.

The charity aims to improve the lives of children in developing countries around the world through education & economic opportunities, and also provides health care resources to help reduce the number of deaths from preventable diseases.

A source explained: “She’s been looking at getting involved with something for a while and now she’s got some time, she thinks this is ideal.”

“She sees what Angelina Jolie does for the UN [as a Goodwill Ambassador] and wants to do her bit too.”
