Kate BeckinsaleKate Beckinsale has said she’s done with film roles that focus on her body or her looks.

The actress won over many fans with her leather-clad appearances in Underworld and Van Helsing but the 34 year old mum has said she’d now like to move onto more serious work: “The sex-bomb thing is totally fun but you want to take the red shoes off sometimes.”

“I’ve been wanting to do something more dramatic. I don’t regret any of my movies but I do have a certain embarrassment about one or two of them.”
