Paul McCartneyPaul McCartney’s continuing Caribbean holiday with Nancy Shevell has further added to rumours of a romance between the friends.

The former Beatle was spotted with Nancy, a New York business woman, on a public beach on Antigua over the weekend and onlookers report they spent much of their time holding hands and laughing together.

One fellow holiday-maker told the Sun: “Everyone could see they only had eyes for each other. They seemed so happy and relaxed - like they’d been together years.”

“Paul looks so happy he seems years younger.”

The couple are said to be staying in a £6000-a-night villa at the exclusive Jumby Bay resort but visited the public beach during a boat trip.

They are said to have been friends for a number of years but were first linked romantically last November, shortly after Nancy split from husband Bruce Blakeman. Paul’s divorce settlement with Heather Mills was agreed last month but the divorce will only be finalised in May.
