Britney Spears reconciles with ex-manager Larry Rudolph
Britney Spears and her conservators are reportedly considering re-hiring her former manager Larry Rudolph.
The singer fired Larry after her brief stint in rehab in Malibu last year because she felt she had conspired with her parents to push her into the clinic when she didn’t need to detox.
However since her dad Jamie Spears was appointed as one of her conservators at the start of February, she is said to have accepted that Larry, like her parents, had her best interests at heart when they encouraged her to check into Promises and has had a serious of meetings with him to see if they can work together in the future.
A source explained: “Britney is slowly putting her life back together and Larry understands that it wasn’t the real Britney saying those things and doing those things last year. He’s ready to get back on board to make her successful again.
Another source told E!: “It’s true. They are working together.”
In related news, Britney’s team in the wake of Larry’s departure last year are said to have turned down the track ‘Umbrella’, which went on to be a massive hit for Rihanna.
Songwriter Taio Cruz told the Daily Telegraph recently that the track was offered to Britney for her comeback album ‘Blackout’ but “[Britney’s handlers] sent it back saying it didn’t work for her.”
The song is considered to being the most successful single of 2007, spending seven weeks at the top of the charts in the US and ten weeks at No 1 in the UK.
