Jodie Foster on the novelty of doing a children’s film
Jodie Foster has said it was a pleasant change to make new film Nim’s Island and it’ll be the first time her children can watch her work on the big screen.
The former child star usually picks dramatic or action roles that are unsuitable for her nine year old son Charles or his six year old brother Kit to watch but the boys accompanied her to the Los Angeles premiere of her new kids film over the weekend.
She explained: “It’s the first movie [of mine] my kids ever saw at a movie theatre, the first premiere they’ve been able to go to.”
“The last movie [I made] they couldn’t even see the commercials. They came to the set but had to stay in my trailer.”
