Julia Louis-DreyfusJulia Louis-Dreyfus has said she thinks actresses are kidding themselves when they claim they eat normally.

The former Seinfeld star told Harper’s Bazaar recently that she only ate scrambled egg whites on the run up to the Emmy Awards last year in order to fit into her gown: “I don’t know why people thought that was so funny. I guess some people like to pretend they can eat like s*** and look great in their dress.”

She also tried having a nutritionist deliver small meals to her home in a bid to stick to a diet but she only managed a day of it before she caved: “I tried one of those things … I felt like it was a prison sentence, eating that crap.”
