Renee ZellwegerRenee Zellweger has said she doesn’t mind the gossip that she’s engaged in a secret love affair with George Clooney.

The Leatherheads co-stars have been frequently linked over the years due to their close friendship but insist friendship is as far as it goes.

She explained recently: “I did see a recent magazine article in which George said that he and I had been girlfriend-boyfriend ‘a little bit’.”

“But what the hell is that? ‘A little bit’? I’m not sure if I should be insulted or not. I think he was asked if he liked me and said, ‘A little bit.’”

“Don’t connect me with that man. I’d deny it until I die. Actually, who the hell am I kidding? Scrap all that, do connect me with George Clooney. Connect me with him as much as possible.”

“What [the media] do write is so much more interesting and makes me so much more an interesting person, especially when they say George Clooney is my secret husband.”
