Mischa Barton is expected to accept a plea deal in her drink-driving case during her court hearing later this week.

The former OC star was charged with a DUI, possession of marijuana and driving without a license after being stopped and arrested over Christmas.

Legal sources claim she will plead ‘no contest’ to the DUI charge in her arraignment at a Beverly Hills court on Thursday and in return will face a fine of $1700, three-months of alcohol education classes and three years probation. The marijuana charge is expected to be dropped and the license offence reduced to an infraction.

A source told TMZ that the punishment is “fairly standard” for a first-time offender, especially as Mischa has accepted responsibility for her wrong-doing.
