Jessica AlbaJessica Alba celebrated the forthcoming birth of her first child with a baby shower on Sunday.

Friends and family - including Kim Kardashian and dad-to-be Cash Warren - joined the Fantastic Four star at the Ever After Teahouse in Studio City, Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.

The restaurant was decorated with white and purple balloons for the event, giving no clues as to whether Jessica is expecting a little boy or girl - but many of the presents were pink coloured or wrapped in pink paper, adding to rumours that she’s expecting a girl.

Large teddy bears were a popular gift but other presents included a Bloom Fresco High Chair from Bel Bambini and items from Soleil Moon Frye’s eco-friendly baby store The Little Seed as Jessica is said to want only organic products for the baby’s nursery.

In return, guests snacked on skewers of tiger shrimp and chicken, cupcakes & mini-donuts and strawberries dipped in white and dark chocolate.

An inside source at the event reports: “Jessica had a great time. She can’t wait for the baby to arrive now.”

The baby is due in the early summer.
