Melanie BrownMelanie Brown has joined fellow Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in the fashion world by launching her own clothing line.

Earning its name from her trademark love of animal prints, the first items in the Catty Couture range were launched in Los Angeles at an event for fashion buyers on Monday. Alongside a catwalk show, Mel showed off the collection with support from husband Stephen Belafonte.

With the Spice Girls reunion behind her, the singer is also set to front a new reality television show in the US with former NSYNC star Joey Fatone.

The Singing Office will see the pair entering workplaces to hold impromptu auditions and singalongs.

Mel explained: “It’s not like American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. It’s not a serious competition.”

“It gives people a break from their everyday lives to have some fun with their co-workers.”
