Kylie Minogue has revealed she was initially misdiagnosed and told she didn’t have breast cancer.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres yesterday, the singer revealed she found a lump before the start of her Showgirl tour but her doctor dismissed it and it was only when she went back for a second opinion that the cancer was diagnosed.

Given the importance of early detection and treatment, Kylie urged views to remember that just “because someone is in a white coat and using big medical instruments doesn’t necessarily mean they are right. If you have any doubt, go back again.”
