Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow was double booked when it came to events on Tuesday night - as well as attending the Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual Pink Party gala in New York, she had to host son Moses’ second birthday party.

Speaking at the charity event at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, she told People magazine: “It’s so exciting. We had a little birthday party at 5pm - a little dinner for all of his New York friends.”

The celebration took place at a nearby Mexican restaurant because “he loves guacamole” but he didn’t get to open many presents at the shindig: “His daddy is in London. So we’re going to do presents when we can all be together.”

The Shakespeare in Love actress added that her little boy is “not so little any more”: “He doesn’t like a stroller anymore, he doesn’t like a highchair. He likes his independence.”
