Heather MillsHeather Mills hasn’t taken soon-to-be ex-husband Paul McCartney’s not-too-subtle hint regarding her television appearances: the former model appeared on GMTV again this morning to complain about the gagging order in place regarding their divorce trial - and to admit to throwing water over Paul’s lawyer when the verdict was announced.

Speaking in a satellite link-up from the US, she said it is unfair that she is restricted in what she can say in her own defence about the High Court trial and the judge’s damning assessment of her: “[Justice Hugh Bennett] said was ’explosive’ and ’volatile’ … I want the transcripts released because I was never once explosive and volatile [during the trial] and he was actually referring to my appearance on your programme [last November].”

“The other thing he said was [I indulge in] ‘make-believe’ because I’d said we’d lived together before we were married. Most people know we lived together before we married and what he should have said is ’I don’t believe that’ and that’s it.”

“It’s very very strange and at the moment I’m arguing with him on a daily basis about the fact that he should release the transcripts because he’s done a very virtually one-sided judgement and when you read the transcripts they’re completely the opposite.”

“But we’ll get there in the end and the truth always outs in the end and the wheel is turning.”

“I have been gagged with no choice of anything else… [but] they can write and put out what they like - but I’m not allowed to discuss him in any way whatsoever.”

“I’m fighting to be able to clear my name. I don’t need to talk about Paul, I’ve never wished him any harm or to say anything, but you’ve seen what I’ve been through the last few years and I want my daughter to know those things are not true.”

Regarding the water throwing incident, she explained: “The trial happened, it finished, I was thanked by the judge, and that was the end of that.”

“I went back to the court, and Paul’s lawyers and him argued to have the judgement put out with all my daughter’s private information and our private information on this one-sided judgment.”

“And Mrs Shackleton said something under her breath so I cleansed and baptised her.”

“I thought she looked fantastic - I thought it did her the world of good…”

As well as her admission, during the interview she added a single bitter jibe aimed in the former Beatle and his current love-life: “I think he’s got three different girlfriends so I wish all the girls the best of luck. Better them than me.”
