Kerry Katona filmed giving birth to son Max
Kerry Katona has given birth to her fourth child five weeks early - and on camera.
The arrival of son Max - named after her PR spokesperson Max Clifford - at Macclesfrield General Hospital on Friday was filmed for Kerry’s fly-on-the-wall MTV series Crazy in Love.
The former Atomic Kitten star’s waters broke at home and is said to have had an easy delivery of the 5lb 4oz boy.
An MTV source told the News of the World: “Kerry got that boy out in three pushes. It was a natural birth and everything seemed to go smoothly. She allowed our cameras there to record it all.”
Speaking on behalf of his client, Big Max told the Mirror: “Mum and baby are really well. It was a natural birth. Everything was fine.”
“It’s been a scary time, a real rollercoaster, but now everything is great. I imagine she will stay in for checks but will hopefully be home soon.”
He added: “I am very proud that Max was named after me. I think the world of Kerry. She’s almost like another daughter to me.”
Max is Kerry’s second child with husband Mark Croft after she gave birth to their daughter Heidi shortly after their marriage in February 2007. She also has two daughters from her marriage to former Westlife star Brian McFadden.
The birth will be broadcast on MTV UK on April 28th.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
