Britney SpearsBritney Spears was involved in a minor car accident on Saturday evening.

The singer was driving north on a west Los Angeles freeway around 8:20pm when she rear-ended the car in front of her.

A California Highway Patrol spokesperson told Us Weekly: “Spears was driving a white Mercedes on the 101 Freeway, when she struck the rear of a Nissan that was in front of her.”

“Britney’s car collided into the rear of a Nissan, which in turn hit another car.”

No one was injured in the incident and no police action will be taken following the bump.

Britney’s right to drive was temporarily suspended by her conservators after her brief hospitalisation at the start of February. It was reinstated last month as a reward for her progress.
