Cheryl ColeAshley Cole is reportedly planning a luxury Caribbean holiday with wife Cheryl Cole to finally put their troubles behind them.

The Girls Aloud star moved out of their marital home in January after news broke about Ashley’s infidelity and even though she returned a month later and are reportedly planning to renew their wedding vows over the summer, day-to-day relations between the pair are said to still be difficult. Cheryl is said to have been avoiding contact with the Chelsea footballer and has even instigated a sex ban.

A source close to the couple told the Sun: “Cheryl accepted Ashley back because she loves him. But she’s finding it hard to put his cheating behind her.”

“Although they are both living in the same house, they are still not really behaving like man and wife and sleep in different rooms. Ashley still has a lot of work to do.”

“He thinks the holiday will be the final gesture that will make things go back to the way they were before he was caught out.”

“He even hopes the sex ban will end while they’re away.”

But the source added that even a holiday at an exclusive resort in the Bahamas might not be enough to win Cheryl back, as she feels intense embarrassment about the whole situation: “She could refuse the holiday offers all together. He has a long way to go before he wins back the place he used to have in her heart - and her bed.”
