George Clooney tracked down Sarah Larson after nightclub meeting

George Clooney’s girlfriend Sarah Larson has revealed the couple actually met a few years ago and not just last year.

She told the Las Vegas Review Journal: “It was on his birthday three or four years ago at Whiskey at [the city’s] Green Valley Ranch.”

George was celebrating his special day with some friends and “I was with some friends. We were all dancing, taking pictures, being silly.”

But Sarah already had a boyfriend so their silliness didn’t go any further - until he arrived in Las Vegas for the Ocean’s Thirteen premiere last June: “he heard I was working at Moon [nightclub and tracked me down]. We hung out.”

A month later, he took her to the Venice Film Festival and now she’s a regular red carpet fixture - which has helped her launch a modelling career.

She added that George is very supportive of her new career: “Your boyfriend better be. If they aren’t, you gotta kick ‘em in the butt and walk away.”
