Ashlee SimpsonAshlee Simpson has said she’s delighted to be getting married - but isn’t going to go public with how fiance Pete Wentz proposed.

Speaking on On Air with Ryan Seacrest yesterday, she said regarding the Fall Out Boy’s proposal: “That part I am keeping sacred but I will tell you that it was very thoughtful, and he did a great job.”

“Of course, it was thoughtful. He’s like that.”

She refused to address pregnancy speculation and whether or not they’re planning to walk down the aisle ASAP, saying “I can’t tell my secrets [but] my mom loves Pete, so does my dad!”

She added: “I didn’t know I’d be getting married [at 23], but I’m so happy to be!”
