Paris HiltonParis Hilton’s family say they thoroughly approve of the socialite’s new boyfriend Benji Madden.

Paris’s mum Kathy Hilton told Luxe Life: “This has honestly become the real thing. It’s a great love match, and I have a funny feeling it’s going to go all the way, and we’ve already given it our approval.”

“We agree with Paris that he is an amazing guy… He’s changed her life, and I really think she’s genuinely in love for the first time.”

Her dad Rick Hilton added: “He’s the perfect example of ‘don’t judge a book by its cover.’ He’s polite, well mannered – even calls me sir. We love him like family already.”

And Good Charlotte star Benji is as equally enamoured by their daughter. When asked recently how he deals with her diva qualities, he replied: “I have never met that Paris Hilton. I have never seen that side of her.”

“She is actually very different. She is very sweet and caring. I have never heard her talk about money or her background or showing off. She is actually very down-to-earth.”
