Mandy Jiroux, watch out! There is another contender for the position of Miley Cyrus‘ BFF - her dad.

Billy Ray Cyrus told OK magazine recently: “I’ve always tried to be her best friend. That’s what I continue to do now. She needs her space to do her thing, but I’m always there and I’m always a phone call away or a text. She always knows if she needs me, I’m there.”

“It’s giving her room to be a kid. Room to be a young lady and to grow and find her own path and do things her own way.”

oh lord Jarrad first of all she does need a dad her parents need to givce her boundries and im not talking about a little grounding something different cause obviosulsy its not working i herad disney might be closing her down for a little bit untill it cools off lol it wasnt a bad picture but those other picture of laying ontop of boys and “exposing” her bras had gone a little to far she needs to know whats right nad wrong and her parents need to crack down the “whip” and give her some discipline to teach her MY LORD and just leave her alone and this is not the medias fault its hers she knows perfectly whats shes doing and needs to be more careful GODDD

Yeah i think miley needs a dad but he shouldn’t “try” to be her “best friend” ‘cause that, to me is just wrong. i think that miley should know what’s right and wrong. if she doesn’t know that, her dad should. he should say " NO " instead of letting it happen. miley used to be a role model for me, my friends, and others. i am taking cotillion now and when i looked on the cotillion website i saw miley as one of the best mannered people of 2007, i’ve been let down and i think she should take a refreshing course and take her dad with her. i am dissapointed at miley and her dad’s poor choices. i just can’t believe what they’ve done i just can’t. see you two in cotillion and don’t forget the LORD is watching !
