Uma Thurman excited by the idea of jury duty

Uma Thurman has revealed she’s joined the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Madonna as celebrity jurors.

Uma was recently selected for jury duty in New York and she told The Late Show with David Letterman this week: “I was proud to go. It was a misdemanour court where people have done wrong and have to face the consequences.”

“I wasn’t selected but I got kinda excited about the concept of it.”

“[But] if I was on a long case, it would have caused some series problems. How do you tell the producers of a movie about that?”

The actress is currently promoting new film The Life Before Her Eyes.
