Paul McCartneyPaul McCartney may end up taking soon-to-be ex-wife Heather Mills along on his next world tour so he can be close to daughter Beatrice.

The former Beatles anticipates spending 14 months on the road, including gigs in North America, Australia and Europe as well as the UK, but realises it will be difficult for him to juggle the tour and sharing custody of the four year old.

A source close to Paul told the News of the World: “Paul is desperate to keep Bea close by him. If he just heads off round the world he will get upset at not seeing her.”

“He realises he has to do some kind of deal with Heather, and to keep disruption to a minimum he has come up with this idea. He feels that letting Heather fly to him where they are touring could be the best way.”

“Many of those close to him are not sure this plan will work.”

“Heather is so unpredictable that anything could happen.”

The tour details are expected to be announced next month and the couple’s divorce is expected to be finalised in June after the financial aspects of the settlement were agreed last month.
