Cameron DiazCameron Diaz was supported by ex-boyfriends Justin Timberlake and John Mayer at a memorial service in honour of her father over the weekend.

Emilio Diaz died suddenly of pneumonia on Tuesday morning and the family held an unconventional memorial service for him at the Mahe restaurant in Seal Beach, California yesterday.

An onlooker told People magazine: “Most people started arriving at 1:30pm and hardly no one wore black. Lots of people were wearing Hawaiian shirts. It looked more like a party.”

Justin and John arrived separately and stayed until the event started to break up around 4pm after Cameron had given a short speech, expanding on her statement about the former oil worker from earlier in the week.

The family requested guests and well-wishers donate to ecology charities Surfrider.org or Reefcheck.org in Emilio’s name instead of sending flowers.

Cameron dated Justin for nearly four years before splitting in January last year. She has repeatedly been linked to John over the last six months.
