Cameron DiazCameron Diaz is said to be receiving “medical attention” after the sudden death of her father last week.

Speaking at the UK premiere of their new movie What Happens In Vegas last night, co-star Ashton Kutcher told reporters that Cameron will not be taking part in any of the publicity work for the film because of dad Emilio’s death: “Sadly [Cameron] will not be joining us for the premiere as she has just lost her father and is under medical attention with stress at the moment. But she will be better soon.”

“I am desperately missing her tonight. We made a present, and it’s like I have to open it alone - and you want to open the present you want to share.”

“I can’t imagine losing my dad. That would be … a pretty tragic deal. But I think she’s doing good.”

“I will be telling her of your get well soon wishes and condolences following her father’s passing on.”

Former oil worker Emilio died of pneumonia last Tuesday and Cameron was joined by ex-boyfriends Justin Timberlake & John Mayer at a memorial service at the weekend.
