Katie Holmes and Suri CruiseTom Cruise and Katie Holmes reportedly spent $100,000 on their daughter Suri’s second birthay party at the weekend.

The little girl turned two on Friday and according to reports, her mum and dad rented a Hollywood Hills property for the celebration.

In Touch Weekly reports that the event was catered by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and each of the 24 guests was presented with a personalised cake from Los Angeles’ Sweet Lady Jane bakery, in addition to a four tier birthday cake for the birthday girl herself.

The shop’s owner Jane Lockhart told the magazine: “They’re very specific about what they like.”

“They wanted [Suri’s] cake to look simple and childlike so they designed it themselves, which was kind of interesting. They brought in photos they had seen of butterflies and other cakes.”

Party guests also enjoyed over $200 worth of cupcakes from LA bakery Sprinkles and were surrounded by $17,000 worth of flowers and balloons.

An attendee told the magazine: “It was a great party. Suri was in a really great mood and loved having all the balloons around.”
