Amy Winehouse possibly facing assault charge after night out
Amy Winehouse is said to possibly be facing assault charges after allegedly hitting two bed on a night out this week.
The incidents happened on Tuesday night while the singer was drinking and playing pool with friends at The Good Mixer pub in Camden, north London.
According to onlookers, she hit one man, Mustapha el Mounmi, after he refused to give way to her at the pool table then, after a brief trip home, she headed out to nearby Bar Tok in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A source told the Sun: “She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables.”
“Amy screamed, ‘I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs.”
After another hour of drinking and kissing her friends, she left the bar - but when a stranger tried to help her into a taxi: “She turned with a snarl and seemed to headbutt him, then started swinging punches.”
The attack is said to have “caused a serious amount of damage” and the man reported it to local police yesterday.
If convicted of assault, she could face up to six months’ in jail and a £2000 fine.
