David Beckham with sons Brooklyn and RomeoDavid Beckham has said he and wife Victoria Beckham are “working on” expanding their family.

Already parents to three boys, the couple have long expressed a desire for a fourth child, preferably a girl but the plans were said to have been put on hold last year after the Spice Girls reformed for their reunion tour and Victoria added to her fashion range.

However speaking on the episode of the The Ellen DeGeneres Show aired today, David said regarding a fourth child: “We’re working on it.”

“We’re very family oriented. We always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted.”

“It’s worked out that we want a big family and we love kids so it’s worked out perfect.”
