I was flicking through some photos from the various Iron Man premieres this week when I came across a photo of Gwyneth Paltrow pulling the exact same smile as she did in Sliding Doors - and she looks exactly the same as she did then.

While I wouldn’t put it in my top ten films of all time, I really quite like Sliding Doors and think the Paltrow does a really good job in it - from the accent to the mannerisms to looking very pretty but still coming across as believable instead of a Hollywood insert. But that was 1998 - a decade and for her, two children ago - she shouldn’t look exactly the same now. That’s just creepy.

Is there a Sliding Doors DVD in an attic somewhere that is aging for her? Or is there something to macrobiotics and all those crazy beauty rituals after all? Quick someone, pass me the mung beans.
