Billie PiperBillie Piper has reportedly told friends and family that she and husband Laurence Fox are expecting their first child.

Rumours started circulating about the broody former Doctor Who star after she was spotted caressing her slightly swollen belly while on holiday in Mauritius this week.

Now a source close to the family has told the Sun that the singer turned actress is around three months pregnant and told family & friends the news just before leaving for their holiday: “Billie and Laurence are both absolutely over the moon.”

“They are stunned as they only wed on New Year’s Eve but they can’t wait to be parents to their little Fox.”

But the source added that while the couple had wanted to start a family, they didn’t expect it to happen so quickly and are worried it might impact Billie’s role in the second series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, which is set to start filming next month.
