Brian McFaddenBrian McFadden is reportedly set to launch a new custody battle over his two daughters with ex-wife Kerry Katona.

The couple have had several legal run-ins over the arrangements concerning six year old Molly and five year old Lilly-Sue since the pair split in 2004 but a source close to the former Westlife star told the News of the World recently that Brian has hired a top barrister to remove the girls from Kerry’s care.

The two girls currently live with Kerry, new husband Mark Croft and their two children 14 month old Heidi and newborn son Max in Cheshire but the source claims Brian is set to fight for a majority of the custody, moving the girls to his new home in Australia: “Those poor girls need stability because they’ve lived a rollercoaster ride with Kerry for too long.”

“You only have to look at her [reality show Crazy in Love] and see the mess she’s in. Brian can give them the upbringing they deserve.”
