Gwyneth Paltrow in high heelsGwyneth Paltrow has dismissed that she’s trying to make a statement with her recent run of super high heeled shoes.

Gwyneth showed off her legs on red carpets all over Europe last week promoting her new film Iron Man in various combination of heels and short skirts but she told Heart radio’s breakfast show: “I just like shoes.”

“But at home, I’m more like sweat pants and Ugg boots. I’m a bit frumpy. It’s shocking.”

She added that the height of the heels - said to be six or seven inches depending on the publication - are also somewhat exaggerated because: “Men measure inches differently than women.”
