JameliaJamelia has decided to bring forward her marriage to footballer Darren Byfield.

The couple were planning to marry next summer but now the singer is said to have proposed tying the knot next month instead.

A friend told the Mirror: “She went to New York to record her album and missed him. So when she got home she said ‘what are we waiting for?’ and brought it all forward. The location is being kept secret.”

Jamelia herself added that she’s planning the wedding herself and has made plans for 10 bridesmaids, the venue and catering - but has yet to find her outfit: “I haven’t found a dress yet. I have an idea what I want but I haven’t found the one.”
