Miley told Vanity Fair that she loves the HBO show. “If you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters – that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”

However, sources close to Cyrus say this criticism is unfair as “The show she watches is completely sanitized. She watches it on TBS [where is is edited for network TV].”

“[Miley’s mum] Tish doesn’t allow HBO in the house. They only have basic cable.”

Fall out from the Vanity Fair shots continues as Disney recently confirmed that they have cancelled her first scheduled public appearance since the publication of the photos; Miley was due to appear at the “Disney Channel Games” this Friday, but Disney have decided against her appearance at the red carpet do.
