Katie Holmes sent to Scientology boot camp, claims Star
Katie Holmes reportedly recently spent three days at a Scientology “boot camp” after considering taking a Broadway role.
Katie was said to be in talks with producers to star in a revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons later this year but according to Star magazine, husband Tom Cruise was concerned about her moving to New York without him for the duration of the show’s run.
The magazine quotes a Scientology insider describing Katie’s three day stay at Gold Base, the Scientology compound in Hemet, California: “It included various tests, confession sessions, tons of reading and physically challenging purification processes.”
The source added that the “personal spiritual counselling” sessions last up to 36 hours straight, with few breaks and little food provided: “Tom insists that auditing and purification practices are incredibly beneficial to Scientologists at all levels.”

Your source is not giving you accurate information. Scientology is an evil destructive cult. However no auditing session is going to go for 36 hours. A hard sell reg cycle, or a recruitment for staff maybe but not a confessional. Also the purification rundown takes about three weeks without a break.
Scientology PRs are trained to point out the tiny errors in your story to debunk the whole article.

BiHollywood Weekly is reporting that Barack Obama joined Scientology in Hawaii. Then he formed a secret all male Scientology fraterity at Harvard. They report he plans to place top level clearance members on his cabinate if elected. A good deal of his heafty campaign funding comes from gay Scientology organizations that have been cleared of any straight sexual hangups.

“It included various tests, confession sessions, tons of reading and physically challenging purification processes”
Confession Sessions in Scientology are known as Auditing. During these session, a person is aggressively questioned in oder to find out about their “concealed crimes” (whether there are any to find or not). It also serves to put the victim into a pseudo-hypnotic trance, which makes them more susceptible to suggestion.
The “purification procedure” will likely involve dangerously high levels of vitamins, and an unhealthy amount of time spend in a sauna (for more information, visit http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Narconon/sources/reports/hogg.htm
