Patrick Dempsey and wife JillPatrick Dempsey has said he thinks humour and communication are essential for a successful marriage.

Speaking about his wife Jill at the New York premiere of his new film Made of Honor on Monday, the Grey’s Anatomy actor said: “She’s immensely supportive. Without her, I wouldn’t be here.”

“Love, humor - my wife is very funny - and communication are key. Those are the bedrocks of our relationship.”
