Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse to duet at Royal Albert Hall?
Amy Winehouse has reported agreed to perform her long-rumoured duet with Pete Doherty at his rescheduled Royal Albert Hall gig.
Pete was due to play the show at the historic venue last month but had to postpone after being sentenced to a 14-week prison term for violating conditions of his suspended sentence and supervision order.
He is now expected to be released tomorrow, after serving just 29 days of the sentence, and his management are keen to reschedule the gig - with Amy as a guest star.
A source told the Mirror: “They think playing at such an incredible venue together will be a massive two-fingers to their critics - especially in light of their traumatic personal lives.”
Pete was spotted visiting Amy’s home several times earlier in the year, with friends claiming they were working on music together, but their friendship is said to have soured slightly over recent weeks and Amy was rumoured to have laughed when she heard Pete had been sent to jail.
